Somers Mcgill, Accountants, is a two-partner firm and both Howard Somers and
Michaela McGill welcome you to their practice.
We hope that our website will give you some useful information about our practice.

Howard Somers - FMAAT
Howard Somers trained in accountancy with the Leeds firm, Bartfield & Co, for six
years. He also worked at other city firms before becoming a partner in Somers
McGill in 1984. He has successfully built up the practice over the years with the help
of his previous partners. The current partnership was formed on 1st October 2006,
and has continued to grow and develop ever since.

Michaela McGill - FCCA FMAAT
Michaela McGill first joined the practice in 1993, after having trained with the Leeds
City Centre firm, Sagars, for seven years. After gaining the ACCA qualification in
1997, she progressed within the practice, first becoming manager and then a partner
in 2006.

Most of our staff have worked with us for quite some time, and we consider ourselves
to be a small, friendly team with Chris Ford in a leading role as our manager.

Our aim at Somers McGill is for continued growth of our business and to help and
encourage all our staff to develop with us. At the same time, our role as Accountants
is to ensure we provide an excellent service to all our clients at all times and to assist
them in running successful businesses.
